Luke 18:9-14
Jesus' parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector flips everything upside down. The "good guy" gets it wrong, and the "villain" finds grace. Why? Because God's grace isn't earned by checking boxes or comparing ourselves to others. It's received when we humbly acknowledge our need for it. We all have a little Pharisee and a little tax collector in us. The question is: Are we focused on proving ourselves, or are we lifting our eyes to God? This week's challenge: Stop comparing. Start seeking grace.
