John 10:1-10

Abundant life isn’t something we chase—it’s something we’re invited into. This Good Shepherd Sunday, we hear Jesus not only as the shepherd who guides us, but as the gate—the open door welcoming us into a life shaped by love, peace, and grace. In a world full of noise, division, and voices that push us toward fear and hatred, Jesus calls us to something different. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy—but Christ comes to give abundant life. That means choosing compassion over cruelty, peace over violence, and community over division. It means learning to recognize the voice of Jesus above the chaos and trusting where it leads. The question for us this week: Can we hear that voice? And will we follow it? Embrace the way of love. Live the abundant life Christ has already opened to you.
