John 8:2-11
Justice that restores. Mercy that surprises. Faithfulness that transforms. This week, we’re reminded that the Good News isn’t about looking righteous—it’s about living it. Jesus challenges the kind of faith that puts on a show but neglects compassion, and instead calls us into something deeper: a life rooted in mercy, even when it’s hard, inconvenient, and undeserved. Because that’s the truth—none of us earn mercy, but we receive it anyway. And in receiving it, we’re invited to extend it. Not recklessly, not unsafely—but intentionally, faithfully, and with courage. So the question this week is simple, but not easy: Where is God calling you to show mercy?|
