Genesis 21:8-21
What happens when fear, division, and exclusion tear people apart? In Genesis 21, Hagar and Ishmael are pushed into the wilderness, cast aside by those who should have cared for them. Yet even there, God hears their cries, sees their suffering, and remains faithfully present. In a world that often builds walls and pushes people to the margins, God calls us to listen, to love, and to extend grace. This week, we'll explore how God's steadfast presence empowers us not only to survive in a fractured society but to help others flourish as well. Join us as we learn what it means to break down barriers and love our neighbors—even those we have been taught to see as "other."
