Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30

In a world filled with arguments, division, and endless criticism, it's easy to feel exhausted. Jesus understood that. He knew the burden of speaking truth in a fractured world—and to be criticized no matter what he did. Yet instead of seeking power or prestige, Jesus chose ordinary people. People who were weary. People carrying heavy burdens. People like us. This week, we're reminded that we were never meant to carry the weight of this world alone. Christ invites us to take up his yoke—a burden that leads not to exhaustion, but to purpose, hope, and transformation. God doesn't call the powerful because they have all the answers. God equips ordinary disciples to share extraordinary love. Through God's strength, we can speak truth with grace, love our neighbors, and become part of God's work of transforming a fractured world.
