Matthew 5:13-16
You don’t have to be a blinding spotlight to change the world. Jesus didn’t say you should be the light. He said you are the light. In a world weighed down by division, injustice, and gloom, Christ calls ordinary people to shine—through justice, mercy, courage, and love. Not for show. Not for praise. But because that’s who we are when we live as people blessed by God. Even the smallest light pushes back the darkness. So don’t hide yours. Be brave enough to let it shine.
