2 Peter 1:16-21
On this Transfiguration Sunday, we remember that our faith is not built on “cleverly devised myths,” but on the revealed glory of Jesus Christ. In a world overflowing with competing “truths,” manipulated images, and endless noise, we cling to the witness passed down through generations. Like a lamp shining in a dark place, Christ’s light breaks through confusion and calls us back to what is real: justice, mercy, grace, and Emmanuel—God with us. This week, may we practice holy remembering. May we anchor ourselves in the truth revealed on the mountaintop and carried into the world by those moved by the Spirit.
